8 - Who are we?
We have spent many years learning as seasoned enthusiasts of astronomical information and at the same time we are users, growers and disseminators of the cannabis world and all the benefits it brings to humanity. The roots of AstroCannaVerse goes back 20 years with the friendship of its two founders, who unknowingly were laying the foundations for the company that a couple of decades later would become a reality thanks to the technological leap and the framework provided by the metaverse and the principles of the web3. The search for a broader and transcendental understanding of this reality would lead these two friends, now partners, to experience many situations and lessons related to what are today the founding bases of the company:
Dissemination of Astronomical Science: Admirers since childhood of great scientists linked to this science such as Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking, we have been passionate about observing and understanding the cosmos and we believe that it is one of the true branches of science capable of raising the bar levels of consciousness of humanity.
The use and dissemination of Cannabis: Originally from Argentina, a country where Cannabis was completely banned until very recently, the cannabis path of the founders of AstroCannaVerse begins at the beginning of the century, in a legal framework where carrying a little marijuana in the pocket was potentially equivalent to several years in prison, and surrounded by a black market protected by this same prohibition. In this very risky social ecosystem for cannabis users, learning to grow and teaching others happened almost at the same time and naturally. The path of cannabis activism was not a decision, it was the natural order of things. The Digital Industry: Videogames, the great gateway to the digital world for most of the modern (and not so modern ;) generations, have also been a source of fanaticism for the founders and the AstroCannaVerse, since the explosion of arcades. and consoles in the 80s and computing and the internet in the 90s to the great technological leap that gave way to massive online open world video games (the video game sector that later evolved into what we now call Metaverses), we have traveled this way as consumers, fans, cultivators, and even as workers of this industry.
